Beach handball EURO 2023

The 13 edition of the EHF Beach Handball EURO will take place in the Portuguese city of Nazaré from 24 to 28 May. This will be the first time Portugal hosts a senior beach handball European Championship after hosting YAC EHF Beach Handball EURO in 2016.

The coast of Nazaré, the world’s popular surfing spot,  will host 16 teams in the women’s competition and 16 teams in the men’s competition who will battle for the coveted trophy over the course of five days. Current title holders are Germany on the women’s side and Denmark on the men’s side.
