Summary: Metz extend unbeaten run with clear MOTW win
The EHF Champions League Women returned after a two-week hiatus for the opening four matches of round 7 on Saturday, followed by the round conclusion with four games on Sunday. The Match of the Week for the round saw Metz Handball take a dominant win away in Slovenia, beating Krim Mercator Ljubljana 34:25.
Always it's hard against Metz. We started, I think, better, but we didn't score these easy goals. But the second half, we started really, really bad. We did mistakes in attack and then we didn't stop them in defence. This is the result. We have one match more against them, so we need to prepare better. We know where we did mistakes, so it's not the end.
It was a hard game at the beginning for us. Of course, we are very satisfied with the victory. We are going back home with two points, still undefeated, so this is a really good feeling. I'm just happy that we did it and that we can continue.
