Documentaries take fans behind the scenes of EHF FINAL4 in Cologne and Budapest

"It's the ultimate goal of my career," says Metz Handball left wing Chloé Valentini early in the documentary on the Raiffeisen Bank EHF FINAL4 2026, talking at home as she had just become a mother, preparing for her way back to the handball courts and visualising how it would be to win the EHF Champions League one day.

What Valentini wasn't aware of at that time, obviously, was that her "ultimate goal" would be accomplished soon after.

Metz dethroned reigning and record title holders Györi Audi ETO KC in the final in Budapest to become the first French side to lift the EHF Champions League Women trophy — the biggest prize in international women's club handball.

Györ's Bruna de Paula, CSM Bucuresti's Elizabeth Omoregie and Brest Bretagne Handball's Anna Vyakhireva are also extensively featured in "The Magic Moment" as they all share their feelings and thoughts surrounding the final weekend of the EHF Champions League Women.

Emotions are running just as high in "Born Rivals," revealing all the ins and outs from the four clubs and their players and coaches at the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 2026.

"The hard thing isn't winning — it's to keep winning," says Barça coach Carlos Ortega. "At a club like Barça, it's how you win, too."

Already the record champions, Barça indeed added title number 12 in Cologne, seeing off a brave challenge from Füchse Berlin, who have reached their second final in two years but have to wait for the trophy for at least another season.

The documentary views Barça's triumphant story through the eyes of the talented pair of brothers, Petar and Djordje Cikusa.

Other main characters in the film include Füchse Berlin's Nicolej Krickau, SC Magdeburg's Felix Claar, and Aalborg Håndbold's Juri Knorr.

These emotional storylines represent the unique access and the revealing insights from the two documentaries that EHF Marketing and Infront are releasing on last season's EHF FINAL4 events: "The Magic Moment" on the women's event in Budapest, and "Born Rivals" on the men's event in Cologne. It marks the first time the EHF has produced such a documentary on the women's competition.

The documentaries with a running time of about 50 minutes are exclusively available on EHFTV and can be watched for free by everyone.
